A broader point of view

I love where I am in my journey (not that I'm not scared to death sometimes,) but I absolutely love what is happening in my heart. I have grown more as a person, and learned more about myself in the last two years than I think I have in the last 10. Maybe it's the wisdom that comes with middle age (86 would be a decent amount of years to live.) Whatever it is...it is amazing. I am able to think outside of the box. That is so wonderful. I hated being a box head. I talked to a box head yesterday. She is so afraid to go anywhere except her strick regiment of what life is supposed to look like. I feel sorry for someone who cowers behind fear of failure. I guess there is some wisdom in being cautious, but at what expense. I've said it before and I'll say it again...liberty is only for the daring.

"liberty is only for the daring."

What a great thought. Wish I'd said it. Rave on!

So true. It takes guts to go upstream against the flow. This courage is a gift to us from God. The last chapter of Hebrews says that Christ had to be taken outside the camp and was killed for our sakes, so also we must follow Him outside the camp and be free.
